What goes perfectly with a strawberry croissant? Fresh whipped cream! If you’re after something sweet that will impress your guests at your next dinner party you need to try this winning combo. It’s quick and easy to make, but looks (and tastes) like it’s from a French Bakery.

The star of the show is our Bakers Delight Croissant with its buttery flaky texture that melts in your mouth. Top it with a just-sweet-enough chantilly cream and fresh strawberries, and it takes it to the next level. If you like it extra sweet you can also add strawberry jam. Whichever way you slice it though, you’ll be having a strawberry and cream croissant that’s out of this world!

Ingredients

Ingredients

Bakers Delight Croissant 4 Pack
600mls thickened cream
2 punnets of strawberries, sliced
1 tbsp icing sugar, & extra for dusting
1 tsp vanilla
Strawberry jam (optional)

Method

    1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Gently cut all 4 Croissants in half lengthways and place onto a lined baking tray. Bake Croissants for 5-10 minutes until lightly toasted, golden and flakey. Allow to cool slightly.

    2. Step 2

While the Croissants are in the oven. Whip the cream, vanilla & 1 tbsp of icing sugar together on medium-high speed until forming firm peaks. Transfer to a large snaplock bag and cut off a small corner for piping.

    3. Step 3

If using jam, spread a small layer on the bottom half of each Croissant. Then pipe a layer of whipped cream, top with a layer of sliced strawberries and another layer of whipped cream then place the top of the Croissants back on top. Sprinkle the filled Croissants with extra dusting of icing sugar. Serve immediately.
