FAQ’s

What does a breakfast sandwich contain?

Breakfast sandwiches usually contain savoury fillings like bacon, ham, fried eggs, cheese, sausage, and avocado, with popular sauces including BBQ sauce, tomato sauce, and aioli.

What is the difference between a sandwich and a toastie?

Unlike a sandwich, a toastie is buttered on the outside and toasted either in a sandwich press or a jaffle maker. Like sandwiches, toasties can be filled with a variety of ingredients, but often contain cheese.

How do you make a toastie not soggy?

A soggy toastie occurs when the hot toastie creates condensation on your cold plate, so to avoid this, make sure you either put down a paper towel or two to soak up the water, or warm the plate first. You can also place a couple of wooden skewers underneath the toastie, which adds much needed airflow underneath. Nobody likes a soggy toastie, so give it a try!
