Halloumi & Crouton Salad

Lunch, dinner or entertaining, our Halloumi & Crouton Salad will become your go-to healthy salad for any occasion!



5 slices of Bakers Delight Hi-Protein Wholegrain Loaf
3 medium beetroots – cooked, peeled and cubed (roasted or boiled)
1 Granny Smith apple washed, cored and cubed
1/2 cup walnuts roughly chopped and lightly toasted in pan
250 grams halloumi sliced into 2.5cm chunks and grilled in pan after the walnuts
1 tbsp fresh flat leaf parsley
1 bunch mint


1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp honey


    1. Step 1

      Chop bread into crouton sized pieces. Lay out on baking paper and drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown

    2. Step 2

      Mix all of the fresh ingredients together in a bowl, then add the croutons last to keep them crunchy

    3. Step 3

      For dressing, shake all ingredients in a jar and drizzle over salad
