Ingredients

Ingredients

1 Bakers Delight Cob Loaf
125g butter, softened
1-2 teaspoons of Vegemite (or however strong you like it)
2 cups shredded cheese

Method

    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 180°C

    2. Step 2

Cut the Cob Loaf on the diagonal with a sharp bread knife making sure not to cut all the way to the bottom. Then cut the other way creating a diamond shaped pattern

    3. Step 3

In a bowl, mix the butter & Vegemite together until well combined. Spread in the ‘cracks’ of the cuts, making sure to get the bread as coated as possible. Then place small clumps of shredded cheese in the cracks & sprinkle on top. Wrap the Cob Loaf in foil. Bake for 15 minutes covered, then unwrap the foil & bake for another 15 minutes until golden & melted. Serve immediately
