Lemon Spinach Hummus

Distract your temptations with an easy chick-peasy hummus recipe and our sup-herb Turkish bread!



1 Bakers Delight large herb Turkish Bread
1/4 cup tahini
3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup organic baby spinach
1 tbsn chopped fresh parsley
1 garlic clove minced
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
Olive oil and fresh parsley to garnish
Pistachios or slivered almonds to garnish


    1. Step 1

      Blend the tahini and lemon juice until smooth and creamy in a food processor

    2. Step 2

      Add the spinach, parsley, garlic, olive oil and salt. Process for one minute, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary

    3. Step 3

      Add half the can of chickpeas and process for one minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add the remaining chickpeas and process until smooth

    4. Step 4

      Transfer to bowl and top with olive oil, chopped pistachios, slivered almonds and extra parsley. Serve with herb Turkish Bread
