For that perfect, crispy-outside with a fluffy-inside texture, pop your room-temperature croissant into a preheated oven at 180°C for about 5 minutes. Or for a frozen croissant, for around 15 minutes. This brings back that fresh-from-the-bakery warmth and crispness beautifully. You can also use an air fryer if you prefer. Avoid the microwave though, as it tends to make them a bit soggy rather than crispy. If you do want to heat it in the microwave, try 10-second bursts, but finish it off in the oven or air fryer for 1-2 mins to add crispness. If you're warming multiple croissants, give them a little extra space on the tray so they heat evenly.

Our croissants are incredibly versatile! For a quick breakfast, slice them open and fill with scrambled eggs and cheese. They make amazing sandwich bases, try turkey and avocado for lunch, or go indulgent with chocolate spread and sliced strawberries. You can even use them for bread and butter pudding or French toast for something really special. The buttery, flaky texture works beautifully with both sweet and savoury fillings, so let your imagination run wild.

Store your croissants at room temperature in a plastic bag or well-ventilated bread bin to keep them soft and fresh for several days. If you want to keep them longer, they freeze beautifully for up to four months. Just pop them in a freezer bag, remove as much air as possible, and seal. To thaw, leave them in their packaging at room temperature, or remove from the bag, wrap in a paper towel and microwave on high in 10-second bursts until soft.
