Visitors to this year’s Free From Show (12-14 July) will have a unique opportunity to taste and provide feedback on a range of new low FODMAP products from Bakers Delight, including a LowFOD™ version of an Aussie icon.
The Free From Show brings together a wide range of vendors and nutrition specialists who create products and valuable information for people living with sensitive stomachs or allergies.
At this year’s show, Bakers Delight will be trialing the highly anticipated LowFOD™ variation of the iconic Cheesymite Scroll. Famous for its perfect combination of Vegemite and melted golden cheese, the Cheesymite Scroll has been an Aussie favourite since it was introduced in 1994. Also on show will be the newly created Wholegrain LowFOD™ Choc & Date Bun and the popular Wholegrain LowFOD™ Block Loaf, all of which are certified Low FODMAP by Monash University.
Conveniently located next to the creators of the Low FODMAP diet, the Bakers Delight stall offers the perfect opportunity to try these tasty new products, provide your feedback and get expert advice from the Monash University team.
Since being added to the Bakers Delight health range, the Wholegrain LowFOD™ Block Loaf and Roll have been very popular among customers with and without a FODMAP intolerance. High in protein and packed with grains and seeds, the LowFOD™ range has the same great texture and taste Bakers Delight products are known for, which has inspired the expansion into LowFOD™ snacks.
Bakers Delight Joint CEO, Elise Gillespie is very proud to be expanding the LowFOD™ range and to be the only freshly baked LowFOD™ bread at the Free From Show.
“Our LowFOD™ range was created to ensure people who experience IBS and FODMAP intolerances no longer have to miss out on delicious bread and baked snacks,” said Elise.
“The fact that we have been able to add a LowFOD™ version of our ever-popular Cheesymite Scroll in its 25th birthday year is a real bonus and we will be watching with great interest to see if visitors to the Free From Show will give it the tick of approval.”
