Is Pita and Lebanese bread the same?

While Lebanese bread is often called Pita bread, there are a few differences between the two. Traditional Lebanese bread is a soft, flatbread baked from wheat flour. Pita on the other hand is typically used in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines and is flattened into a round shape.
