Ingredients

Jack-O-Lantern Grilled Cheese

Ghost Egg-In-A-Hole Toast

Boo-nana Ghost Toast

Hummus Franken-toast

Jack-O-Lantern Grilled Cheese

Cut a Jack-o’-Lantern face out of one slice of bread using a small knife or cookie cutter

Lightly butter the outside of both slices of bread

Place the cheese between the two slices, with the cut-out slice on top

Grill in a pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes each side, or until golden and melted

Slice and serve warm—spooky, melty, and delicious!

Ghost Egg-In-A-Hole Toast

Cut a ghost shape from the centre of the bread using a small knife

Heat a pan with a little butter or oil over medium heat

Place the bread in the pan and carefully pour the egg white into the cut-out shape

Cook until the egg white is set and the bread is golden underneath (you can cover the pan for even cooking)

Remove from heat and add candy eyes or gel icing dots to bring your ghost to life

Serve immediately for a spooky start to the day!

Boo-nana Ghost Toast

Toast your bread to desired crispness

Spread a generous layer of peanut butter over the toast

Slice the banana in half and place both halves vertically on the toast—these will be your ghosts!

Use black gel icing to dot on spooky eyes and a little “O” mouth on each banana ghost

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Hummus Franken-toast

Toast your bread and let it cool slightly

Spread pumpkin hummus across the entire slice in an even layer

Cut jagged “hair” shapes from seaweed sheets and place them at the top of the toast

Add two black olive slices for eyes

Cut thin strips of seaweed for a stitched mouth and any extra details

Serve fresh for a savoury Halloween bite!
