Ingredients

Method

1
Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper
2
Cook the diced bacon in a pan until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool slightly
3
In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream cheese, spring onions, cooked bacon, mozzarella, salt and pepper until well combined. Transfer to a piping bag and refrigerate while you prep the rolls
4
Place the dinner rolls onto the tray. Using a sharp knife, cut a cross into the top of each roll, making sure not to slice all the way through the sides
5
Pipe the filling generously into each cross, pressing it slightly into the cuts
6
Mix together the melted butter, garlic and parsley, then brush over the tops of the rolls
7
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden
8
Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm
FAQs

Cheddar is a popular choice for its strong flavour and good melt, but mozzarella or a tasty cheese also works well. You can even use a blend for extra richness.

Cover the rolls loosely with foil once they come out of the oven and let them rest briefly before serving. This helps lock in the moisture and keeps the rolls soft and easy to pull apart.
