Croissant & Berry French Toast

Create the ultimate brekkie with our Croissant & Berry French Toast that will make the whole fam swoon!



6 Bakers Delight Croissants – cut in half horizontally
2 cups of milk
6 eggs
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Blueberries
1 cup Strawberries
Icing sugar to serve
Maple Syrup to serve


    1. Step 1

      Grease a baking dish with butter or oil spray

    2. Step 2

      In a large bowl whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla

    3. Step 3

      Dip croissants into the egg mixture until fully coated and arrange into the baking dish

    4. Step 4

      Pour the left over egg mixture over the croissants

    5. Step 5

      Cut the strawberries in halves or quaters depending on their size and arrange along with the blueberries on top of the croissants, making sure to tuck some between the layers

    6. Step 6

      Cover with cling wrap and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes

    7. Step 7

      Pre- heat oven to 180C

    8. Step 8

      Remove the cling wrap and wrap with foil. Bake for 30 minutes and a further 15 minutes un-covered, or until golden

    9. Step 8

      Dust with icing sugar and serve with maple syrup
