French Toast Skewers Recipe

Introduction

These French toast skewers are the perfect mix of comfort and freshness. Warm, cinnamon-coated cubes meet juicy fruit for a crowd-pleasing twist on a classic.

Cut the loaf into roughly 20 even cubes, each about bite-sized for easy skewering

In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup and mixed spice together until smooth

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little butter. Dip bread cubes into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip off, and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Work in batches if needed

Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl. While the bread cubes are still warm, roll them gently in the cinnamon sugar until evenly coated

Thread the French toast cubes onto skewers, alternating with kiwi chunks, banana slices, and strawberry halves
