Air Fryer Bacon & Egg Boats Recipe

Introduction

Crisp edges, gooey centres and zero stove top fuss. These bacon and egg boats turn simple slices of bread into perfectly shaped breakfast wells, filled with silky egg whites, melted cheese and crispy bacon, then finished with a rich yolk baked to your liking. The air fryer does all the heavy lifting, delivering golden, gooey goodness in minutes. It’s hearty, satisfying and made for mornings when you want something a little extra without the extra effort.

Separat the 4 eggs keeping the whites in a pouring bowl and yolks kept in shells

Place the 4 slices of bread into the base of your air fryer basket

Use the back of a spoon to press each slice down firmly, creating a “well” in the centre

Pour the egg whites evenly into the wells. Crack over some black pepper

Air fry at 180°C for 5–6 minutes, or until the egg whites are just set

Remove from the air fryer. Scatter the mozzarella around the edges of each toast, followed by the bacon

Carefully place one egg yolk into the centre of each toast

Return to the air fryer and cook for a further 5 minutes at 180°C, or until the cheese is melted and the yolks are cooked to your liking
