Honey Butter Toast Recipe

Introduction

Wake up to golden perfection! This honey butter toast is crisp on the outside, soft inside, and bathed in a rich swirl of vanilla cream and warm honey - your new breakfast soulmate.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius

Cut the block loaf into 2cm slices and remove the crusts to create thick squares

Combine the butter, honey, salt and brown sugar to create a thick paste

Coat all sides of the bread with the butter mixture

Place bread slices on parchment/baking paper and place in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping half way through

Remove the toast from the oven and set aside for 5 minutes for the outside to harden/crisp

While the toast is cooling, whip the thickened cream and vanilla essence. Top the toast with the whipped cream, honey and enjoy!
