Chicken Meatball Garlic Sub Recipe

Introduction

A bold, flavour-packed sub with tender chicken meatballs, garlicky buttered bread, zesty tomato sauce, and gooey cheese. Messy, saucy, and totally worth it.

Method

Meatballs

Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Mix all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl

Using tbs amounts of mince, roll into meatballs and place onto a lined baking tray

Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until golden and cooked through

Garlic Subs

Cut each roll into half, lengthways

In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, butter, parsley, salt & pepper. Mix well

Spread the garlic butter over each half of the rolls and placed on a lined baking tray

Bake for 5-10 minutes or until golden & toasted

To assemble the subs, place 4-5 meatballs on 1 half of each roll, top with tomato passata & grated cheese. Place other half of the roll back on top. Serve immediately
