One of Australia’s leading retail groups has named Bakers Delight as the nation’s best franchise business for 2019. The prestigious Australian Retailers Association Awards are an annual celebration of the very best in retailing across Australia and an opportunity to shine the spotlight on those businesses that excelled throughout the year.
Bakers Delight was announced Franchise Group of the Year at a gala awards breakfast event in August, with the award being accepted by Joint CEO, Elise Gillespie. Bakers Delight was also presented with the Excellence in Retail Marketing award in recognition of its 2019 Breast Cancer Network Australia campaign which helped raise almost $1.5 million (along with some much-needed awareness) for the cause.
