Tofu Cheese Hi-Protein Wholegrain Roll

Go meat-free with our delicious Tofu Cheese Roll, providing more than half of your daily requirement for calcium!



2 Bakers Delight Hi-Protein Wholegrain Round Rolls
150g firm tofu
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 cup rocket
4 tomato slices


    1. Step 1

      Slice the tofu into four rectangular slices. Stack two slices of tofu, inserting one slice of cheese in between. Season with pepper. Insert two toothpicks to hold the block together

    2. Step 2

      Grill the tofu blocks for about 2 minutes on each side or until the cheese melts. Set aside on a warm plate. Remove the toothpicks

    3. Step 3

      Cut the roll in half, without quite going all the way through so the halves are still attached

    4. Step 4

      Spread the inside with mayonnaise and mustard. Place tofu blocks, rockets and tomato in each roll. Close the rolls and wrap or pop into reusable containers
