Spanish Style Bread Doughnuts

Doughnuts but not as you know them! These easy doughnuts are made with Authentic Sourdough Vienna soaked in milk and spices and cooked until crisp! They are the perfect thing to whip for unexpected guests or as a delicious morsel for yourself!

175g Bakers Delight Authentic Sourdough Vienna, torn into small pieces
200mL milk of choice
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ground cloves
1 dessertspoon of rapadura sugar
1 egg


    1. Step 1

      Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then really mix it up, pressing the batter into the sides of the bowl so it mashes up.

    2. Step 2

      Pre-heat your electric doughnut maker and spoon batter into it, close and cook until golden.

    3. Step 3

      Sprinkle with a little icing sugar and vanilla bean powder.
