We’ve swapped a classic nacho base for some of our freshly baked Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Wholemeal Rolls, toasted to a delightful crispness that adds a whole new dimension to this beloved meal! The roll slices offer the perfect canvas to hold an array of mouthwatering toppings, from gooey melted cheese to zesty diced tomatoes, creamy avocados and seasoned black beans. The best part of this simple nachos recipe? It’s super quick and easy to make!

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C

In a medium sauce pan over medium heat sauté the onion until soft, add the spice mix, beans & tin of tomatoes. Cook until well combined and beans are slightly softened

Take your Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Wholemeal Rolls and thinly slice them. Place the roll slices onto a lined baking tray and spray lightly with oil. Place into the oven for 10 mins or until golden and toasted

Once your roll slices are ready, evenly layer with the spiced bean mix and then top with a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Place back into the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted

Top your nachos with dollops of avocado and sour cream then sprinkle over the fresh diced tomatoes and optional herbs. Serve immediately
