Cheese & Bacon Quiche Cob

There’s nothing more belly warming than Cheese and Bacon Quiche in our White Cob! Perfect to bring to parties and delicious for dinner.



1 Bakers Delight White Cob
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
300g rindless middle cut bacon, diced (100g to sprinkle on top)
8 eggs
½ cup (125ml) thickened cream
½ cup (75g) self-raising flour
½ cup chopped parsley (save some for garnish)
1 ½ cups (135g) cheddar cheese
1 capsicum, chopped
1 punnet of cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
Salt and pepper
Green salad leaves (to serve)


    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 190°Cand line a baking tray with baking paper

    2. Step 2

      Cover cob in foil then cut a 15cm circle off the top of the cob and remove soft crumb from the middle

    3. Step 3

      Whisk eggs together, then stir in cream, flour, parsley, capsicum, cherry tomatoes, 100g cheese, cooked onion, bacon, salt and pepper

    4. Step 4

      Pour into prepared cob and sprinkle with remaining cheese

    5. Step 5

      Bake 50-55 minutes at 190°C

    6. Step 6

      To finish, sprinkle parsley and bacon on top

    7. Step 7

      Serve warm with a fresh green salad
