About our partnership

The BCNA and Bakers Delight partnership has spanned over 11 years in 2011 and over $5.5 Million had been raised for BCNA. We need you to help to reach our target and reach $1.2 Million in 2012!
The money raised by Bakers Delight customers will support BCNA’s information resources provided to Australians affected by breast cancer such as the My Journey Kit, a free resource for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. This year, the campaign will also fund a new booklet for women on how exercise can benefit them after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Raelene, an Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist, knows firsthand how breast cancer can impact a woman’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Raelene says exercise made a real difference to her outlook after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996.
When buying a Pink Finger Bun, Bakers Delight customers are also encouraged to leave a personal message on a Pink Lady paper silhouette. The message may be in support or memory of a loved one with breast cancer in their family or community. The silhouettes will be displayed around each local store during the campaign.
