Recruitment process
1. Online application
The first step in the Fresh Franchisee recruitment process is your online application.
The application takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
Once you have applied you will receive email confirmation that your application has been submitted. You may log onto the applicant website at any time to review, withdraw or amend your application.

2. Phone interview
You will be contacted by Bakers Delight Holdings to discuss your application and expectations prior to a face to face interview. A phone interview ensures that you have enough information to make an informed decision about your application.
3. Face to face interview
You will be invited to attend at one of the regional offices for a personal interview. The interview will consist of a variety of questions regarding your skills, experience and career aspirations. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the program and the company.
Bakers Delight Holdings encourages you to have your partner accompany you to the interview.
4. Profile testing
Candidates may then be required to meet with an independent consulting firm to undergo profile testing. These tests provide an insight into the suitability of the candidate to becoming a trainee franchisee with Bakers Delight Holdings.
5. Approval
Upon successful completion of all stages of the process, a decision is now made as to whether or not the candidate is suitable for acceptance into the Bakers Delight Holdings training program.
Candidates will receive notification as to whether or not they have been approved as a trainee franchisee, and a member of the Fresh Franchise recruitment team will arrange a handover to the Training department.
Candidates will then be assigned to a training consultant and commence training usually in approximately three weeks, dependent on candidate requirements.
NOTE: This is not acceptance as a franchisee, but as a trainee. Further processes may be entered into close to or after completion of the Bakers Delight training program to assess the candidates suitability as a franchisee such as a police check, financial heath questionnaire or further profile testing.
Candidates are encouraged to keep in touch with the franchise recruitment manager throughout their training, to discuss their progress, any general issues, and upcoming bakery opportunities.
