Manage to Own
Bakers Delight is giving young hopefuls the opportunity to take control of their destiny and operate their own business within 12 months, through the Manage to Own program.
This program is targeted at highly talented and energetic individuals with the drive and aspiration to operate their own business but not necessarily the capital to get started. No bakery experience required.
The successful Manage to Own applicants will each receive five months of paid on-the-job franchise training, followed by six months experience managing a company owned retail bakery (COBS) before leasing and potentially purchasing a bakery.
Upon successful completion Bakers Delight will then assist recruits take the next step to purchasing a bakery through a combination of financial assistance – potentially including working capital, vendor finance and bonus schemes – as well as ongoing advice, training and operational support.
